I’ve had the privilege of camping and hiking in that area over the years. In fact, when I took the Skunk Train from Ft. Bragg to Willits years ago we had lunch in Willits where I had a milk shake from one of the three older ladies that were still running the place. It is now a museum but still worth a visit. Also, if you are really hungry in Eureka, you can’t beat the Samoa Cookhouse. A family style restaurant that was once a loggers kitchen.
