Hi Julia,
We’re flying directly to Moab and staying with our son and family who live and work there. We have about 4 days, (3 nights) for a road trip in March. We’ve explored a lot of Canyonlands and Arches and would like to start in some new territory beyond Hanksville, UT. What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi Michael. I’d recommend this itinerary for your trip:
Day 1: Evening in Salt Lake City
Day 2: Morning in Salt Lake City, Bonneville Salt Flats
Day 3: Drive to Bryce Canyon
Day 4: Bryce Canyon, Drive to Capitol Reef in late afternoon
Day 5: Capitol Reef, Drive to Moab in late afternoon
Day 6: Half Day in Arches, Half Day in Canyonlands
Day 7: Monument Valley
Day 8: Return to Salt Lake City

That said, with only 8 days, you’re probably better off saving Monument Valley for another trip as it adds a significant amount of driving (~ 5 hours round trip) and you wouldn’t get to spend much time there.

Hi,

We are flying into Salt Lake City and have 8 days total. We fly in early afternoon on day 1 and fly out at 6pm on day 8.

We have seen Zion before with a trip last year to Northern Arizona. Can you recommend an itinerary minus Zion with time to explore Salt Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats, Arches, Canyon Lands, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef?

Hi Sheila! While I haven’t personally taken a guided trip like this one, I have heard good things about Trafalgar tours before and seen many of their buses in national parks. Good Afternoon, This is the exact trip we have been looking to sign up for and enjoy going with a tour to every place you have offered for us to drive. Do you know any one that offers these locations. We have 3-4 ladies planing a trip in the Fall of 2022 . We are very active and healthy 80+ ladies. A trip tour would be better for us because of convenience of luggage meals and rooms being planed ahead for us. The locations you have mentioned are the exact places to go that we want and have not found a tour that includes Bryce, Zion, Arches etc.
Do you have a phone number that we could call and talk with someone. Perhaps you could convince us this is the way to go. Two of us did 3 months of Europe on $5.00 a day in 1963 or longer.
